Only seen 2 or 3 episodes, but they all cracked me up. $40 on Best Buy for all that, figured what the hell. Should get it in within the next week. Wish me luck.
I love Mr. Show, but it’s very hit-and-miss. Season 1 is the best, by far, in my opinion. After that, it’s all very hit-and-miss.
1 and 2 are absolutely perfect, 3 is about 50/50 hilarious or just-plain-weird, and 4 is kind of bad but occasionally knocks one out of the park. Definitely worth owning.
How many seasons is Mary Lynn Rajskub in? I absolutely adore her as crabby, nerdy Chloe on 24, and I know she started out on Mr. Show. Is she actually funny? I can definitely see her in more of a straight-woman role.
Is the complete collection just the three previous sets bundled together, or did they add new extras?

You might also be inclined to watch the movie Run Ronnie Run, a motion picture spin-off of, IMHO, a lesser sketch from Mr. Show. Bob Odenkirk and David Cross disavow this movie, however. Their final artistic license was revoked and it became a typical piece of overwrought, cluelessly edited, studio politik, piece of crap.
I’ve only seen a few episodes of the show, and I’ve found it pretty hit or miss, as others have said. But when it hits, it really hits. Forty bucks for the whole series?

I was considering it on Amazon for $75, then the first review mentioned it’s price on BB. That made the choice to buy it much easier.
