Just closed a gap in my geek cred: I watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Nothing suits NPH like a suit.

Yeah. A BIRTHDAY suit.

Errr, this post courtesy of my wife, who’s reading over my shoulder.

Uhhhh… I need to be a bit more careful what I talk about on the blog. The LAPD and Captain Hammer are both viewers and were waiting for me and beat me up. Captain Hammer threw a car at my head.

My wonderful me-ness
The hammer - the people can tell…

It wasn’t until the second listening that I realized why “Steve’s Song” was so funny.

Or Maurissa Tancharoen’s ending of “Nobody’s Asian in the Movies”

MT; I guess my parents will be proud of me after all
NPH; What does your father do anyway?
MT; Oh, he’s a nerdy, funny …scientist
NPH; Isn’t your dad a transpo guy
MT; <sarcastically> Oh like an Asian could do that, <slightly sad>I’m going to go and play with my violin…and…math…

Watched this on Netflix streaming and loved it! However, they don’t have the commentary on streaming (as far as I can tell anyway). Does anyone know if Commentary! The Musical is available on hulu or something?

YouTube, but I don’t know if it is standalone or supposed to be played along with the show.

I think you’d best check your pulse. You might very well be dead.

Having watched it along with the show, I can tell you that at no point does the commentary actually comment on the on-screen action, so it doesn’t matter if the YouTube video actually has video or not.

I bought the dvd!

She does the weird stuff!

It does occasionally. At one point in “Better Than Neil” Nathan sings “I jumped from a moving automobile” just as Captain Hammer does, which is a pretty nifty bit of coordination, and Felicia sings about how dreamy Nathan is during their duet. They also occasionally comment on the movie in the spoken bits and of course it ends on “Depressing shot”. But the vast majority of it is unconnected to the video.

Well, I WAS folding laundry during the commentary, so I must have missed a few places where the audio and video intersect.

Hey, there’s a regular commentary, too! I’ma watch that today.

I’ve met her twice (I live in L.A., where she also lives) and I concur with your assessment of her personality. Here’s a slightly blurry photo from the first time I met her. The second time she actually complimented me on my shirt! (which is weird, because it was just a plain bright blue shirt. But man, that made my day!)

Her Twitter feed is often hysterical.

I have her autograph from when she was just a Potential on BtVS.
