No spoilers about Seasons 8+9 please.
I just finished the end of Season 7 boxset yesterday. I HATED the last 2 episodes that brought politics into it. Just answer me: if I don’t like politics, should I even bother with Season 8?
Season 8 is pretty much the same as seasons 5-7. The first episode necessarily has to resolve the issues the finale brought up, but the other six episodes plod along as normal.
There is one strongly political episode. But I’d wager the ratio of politics to science fiction, adventure, and drama remains the same as in other seasons.
