In this thread I announced that I was laid off.
That was a little over three months ago.
Today I got offered a new job. Just about as good as the one I left. Considering the economy, I consider myself pretty lucky to have found such a good job so fast.
It was all about networking, networking, networking. A guy I used to work with now works at the new company, and he put in a good word for me.

Just about every job I’ve ever gotten is because of networking. You never know who you’ll run into later in life.
