Just got polled

ABC/Washington Post poll. I have a vague memory of having been polled once before for an election many years ago.

These guys called yesterday, but I was in the bathroom and by the time I got to my phone, they’d hung up. I was thinking what I would tell them if they called back and decided I’d claim I was going to write in Michelle Obama. Totally forgot about that when they did call.

Who else has gotten polled in this election?

I’ve had two phone calls from Gallup (about issues but not about specific candidates) and more “surveys” than I can count. I actually blocked one organization because they were calling something like twice a week and their questions were biased.

I guess you guys don’t live in a swing state. I don’t even answer my phone anymore. Not to mention the constant emails from Hillary, Obama, Michelle, Bill, Chelsea, Biden, Kaine, and all their surrogates. Wednesday can’t come soon enough.

Are these on land lines?

I don’t have one any more, so no phone calls.

The only phone I have is a cell, so not having a land line won’t keep you from being polled. But Oregon is not a swing state, so we don’t get polled much here. It was unusual for here, but I guess not if I lived in Ohio.

I guess I’m not likely to get any calls in Texas.

I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognize, so if any pollsters called, then went right to voicemail.

Arkansas. Lisa from Card Services calls. There’s no problem with my credit card.

I wouldn’t want to be polled because nobody would recognize me without my horns.

I’m a-palled at that joke.

Actually, if you’ve ever BEEN polled, you know just how painful that can be!

I’ve gotten a number of polls on my landline but none on my cell. I’m in Illinois but I guess the GOP is targeting the Democratic state senator in my district so most of the polls have been about that.
