Just saw the "Revenge of the Sith" teaser trailer

It’s up on AOL for anyone who wants to get it from there. And even though I’m convinced that I’m going to be disappointed, the trailer is cool.

It’s got Ewoks? E-Freakin’-woks??

There’s no God and there’s no justice.

Any chance of a link?

www.starwrs.com has a link to it, it’s still loading for me though.

oops, it’s www.starwars.com

Double oops; it seems you have to pay for that one, sorry.

Wookies, not Ewoks.
And in one scene Amidala is wearing Leia style hair buns!

I found it out on the net (not on a shady filesharing service), but I’m still not sure if is legit to post the links.

Just search slashdot for “episode iii trailer”

“many Bothan spies died to get you this information”

Have they brought back James Earl Jones to do VO for Vader as a Young Man?

There was Genuine Vader Voiceage ™ in the trailer.

There were no Ewoks, only Wookiees.

Much of the trailer was footage from Star Wars and Ep II, but the new stuff looked intruiging, even if fake CGI Yoda still annoys me.

Also, there was a random shot of what looks like Mount Doom interspersed in the footage. :smack:
Despite that, I have hope. It’s a wee tiny bit… but it’s there.

(until 5 minutes into the movie, when it will undoubtedly be crushed by a kickline of Gungan showgirls…)

Is it a…new hope, by any chance?

We watched it, and were overcome with a weird mixture of childlike anticipation and fear for the future. “Ooh, Star Wars! It’s gonna be terrible. Look, Darth Vader! The acting will be embarrassing. Explosions! Light sabers! Two words: Yoda. Fart. But, but, Star Wars!”

[Nigel Tufnel]When you have the “suck” knob turned to ten, where do you go from there?[/NT]

Damn. And I thought that was real CGI.

So I forgot the comma, so sue me. :stuck_out_tongue:
I have decided that as long as there are good light sabre battles and Vader, I will happily turn off my brain for the undoubtedly wretched ‘dramatic’ scenes.
