Just what is unrealistic about porn?

Yeah, that notion that women are vending machines for sex, just insert the correct inputs and you’ll get the same consistent results every single time.

What about Deep Throat? A woman with a clitoris in her throat?

How realistic is that?

Read Linda Loveless’s books “Ordeal” and “Out of Bondage” for more insight into the porn industry.

You know, with titles like Moneyball and A Few Good Men, some of his movies are ripe for porn parody anyway…

It’s not true in most cases that it’s trying to achieve an unrealistic body type. Most people who have plastic surgery are just trying to make a prettier, younger or better-endowed version of themselves. There’s no reason why such a form could not exist and be considered perfectly normal (until we get to ridiculous boob size and/or rock-solid boobs).

If by unrealistic you mean that plastic surgery still looks artificial and that artificial look is something you’re less likely to encounter in real life than in porn…yeah, I’d agree, for now.

Lets keep it real chaps!!! Watch only amature porn*

*Of course that has the risk of ending up finding a video of mum and dad

Aaaaaaaaaand I just realized I’d watch Aaron Sorkin parody porn.

Which I am sure exists.

Can you imagine the walk and talk?

When you’re talking about plastic surgery in the context of porn, it’s boob jobs.

The average natural breast size in the US was a B cup (pre-common-boob jobs and when obesity levels were lower – Cecil even even wrote a column on it). But, from what I’ve seen of porn that’s not the average breast size.

So many skinny women with their big breasts is unrealistic. Skinny women usually (not always, but usually) have average to small breasts — that’s realistic.

And the sad thing is that so many men (especially younger men) have gotten so used to surgery enhanced breast size that they think that C and D cups are supposed to be average and a woman’s natural breasts are undersized.

That’s unrealistic.

Having surgery to alter the natural body to make it better-endowed, how is that not unrealistic? Realistic was what you were born with. Unrealistic is getting implants.

Even more unrealistic is the way many implants move, or in some cases, don’t move.

No, some men think female pleasure is significant because it’s sign if theirof their masculinity. Do you really think “bitches can’t get enough of my big cock” is pro-women?

This is a good way to put what I am talking about, except I think it’s often more like “I am inherently such a MAN, its blows them away”, not “through diligent study I have mastered these skills”

You said that plastic surgery itself, by definition, was “trying to achieve an unrealistic body type”. That’s not true for most plastic surgery, so doesn’t work “by definition”.

But if you put it this way: some women in porn have very artificial looking plastic surgery that you’re unlikely to encounter IRL…yeah, I’d agree with that statement.

But where do you draw the line? Does going to the orthodontist result in unrealistic nicely-aligned teeth? Does working out make one unrealistically muscled? Straightening your hair?

Yeah, that’s a pet peeve - going from fully clothed to fucking in a single cut, no build up. Give me some tease, some kissing, some stroking, hands slipping into unbuttoned blouses and down the back of trousers.

Actually, there hasn’t been a fluffer on a porn set in decades. Except for porn for very specialized tastes, all the men on a porn set have hands and use them to maintain their own erections. Fluffers were last used on the mega gangbang films like the Houston 500 where a constant supply of erect peni was needed.

As for how the women get excited for the film, sadly most of them probably get wet thinking of the money they’ll get for the scene.

Also, people shouldn’t cite either of Linda Lovelace’s books. Not one person who worked on those films agreed with her claim that she was being raped. There was no doubt that her boyfriend Chuck Traynor was abusive to her and coerced her into doing porn, but that has nothing to do with the other actors, director or crew. They always found some way to get him off the set when they were going to shoot a sex scene, to go get more film stock or donuts or anything. Once he was gone, she was by all reports an enthusiastic participant.

The Breast Wing?

Charlie Wilson’s Whore?

Stripclub 60 on the Sunset Strip?

A Few Good Women?

All the silliness of men having to pull out and give themselves those couple of strokes so they can ejaculate on their partner’s face/stomach/back (if they’re lucky). I get that, in porn, it’s so you can see that the guy had a big manly orgasm but in my experience, having to beat myself off isn’t the goal of me having sex.

It is because all the porn stars are Catholic and practice coitus interuptus.

Yeah, that’s another peeve. If I want to see a guy jerking off, all I have to do is tilt my head down.

Derp!

Porn aimed at women tends to include much more warm-up stuff and undressing.

Why would that be sad?

Like, it’s a sad fact that in this degenerate age, women actually make good money for this?

Or, it’s a sad fact that women are more about money than love, and that’s what it takes to arouse them?

Or, it’s a sad fact that theses women in particular look at this as a job, and ideally, if they were better people, they’d be doing it for, I dunno, art?

I don’t understand what makes you so sad here.

And in any case, it doesn’t make sense. Monetary satisfaction can’t actually make a person physically aroused on a regular basis. So I wonder if, instead, the statement wasn’t a way to suggest that how the women get aroused–or if they do–isn’t important, so as long as we remember they are getting paid, who cares whether or not it hurts?

You guys aren’t watching the right porn. There’s a lot of stuff, including amateur clips, that … well, press all the right buttons for me without being too fake. Some of it is quite erotic and natural.
