Oh. Well… oh. That takes some of the fun out of it.
Yeah, it looked completely like fake outrage to me, which only shows that Kanye is a really sucky actor.
“Epic douche” is wonderfully accurate, nicely phrased!
Thanks, Revtim, but I stole it from Wil Wheaton. Wish it was mine!
I think they all play that hippety-hop music the kids are listening to these days.
It’s easy. There’s the guy with the oversized ego and that’s … wait a second … I know this …
Kanye West definitely needs to get over himself. I still love his music though.
Yeah they all look alike to me too.
Huh? Is that true? Is it true of all these kinds of awards shows?

Jay-Z is a respected veteran and a very good rapper. He is considered by many people, including himself, to be the best rapper alive. He is from New York. Jay-Z’s songs include “99 Problems,” “Show Me What You Got,” “Dead Presidents II,” “Big Pimpin,’” and “The Takeover.”
Kanye West is a relative newcomer who, while he has worked hard to improve his rapping, has nowhere near the ability of Jay-Z. He is handy with a punchline, though, and his approach and subject matter does much to make up for his lack of technical prowess. He first came to attention as a producer, including, significantly, for Jay-Z, and although his rapping may not be first class, his production work is among the best going. West is from Chicago. His songs include “Jesus Walks,” “Gold Digger,” “Touch The Sky,” and “We Major.” Folks in this thread are complaining that Kanye is a jerk, but his cocky sense of entitlement is simply part of the theater.
P. Diddy is a rapper, producer, and mogul. His biggest talent is to surround himself with talented people, including, most significantly the Notorious B.I.G. Diddy owns Bad Boy records and Sean John clothing, and his music ranges from dull to, when he pays for it, quite pleasing. Diddy is by no means a good rapper, whether in delivery or writing, and he is known for openly admitting to relying on ghostwriters. Diddy is from New York. His songs include “Bad Boy For Life,” “It’s All About the Benjamins,” and “I’ll Be Missing You.” He has a new album out called “Press Play” that is a lot better than it has any right to be.
You are no better off for not knowing this information than you would be for not knowing anything else about popular music.
In other words, they’re right - because he’s a troll.
Hmm, maybe it wasn’t rehearsed. If it was, wouldn’t he say it was a joke?

(He blames drinking.)
Thanks, gredbioz. You just fought a little ignorance.
To be fair, the video that one rather sucked IMO. Justice vs. Simian “We Are Your Friends”
:smack: one = won How embarassing!
