I’ve got a slightly different take, based upon my utter paranoia and loathing of the current Administration.
Rove has been re-assigned by the G.O.P. to insure that a Republican wins next time out. His job here is done.
Sickeningly, I fear his job in America is very far from done. When it is done, Haliburton will not be the only huge corporation to have left for The Middle East with trillions in US Government contracts.

In the end, it would be, what it is, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. This is, after all, just a messageboard, and I doubt that we’ll ever find a Doper here announcing that they’ve discovered a cure for cancer based on someone else’s postings.
