After the new media drone has established a Leavitt-like record of nastiness and flagrant lying, the Wall St. Journal can run another op-ed on how people only resent her for her looks.

It’s interesting how Zacharia has seemed to have a little more background than Leavitt, having worked with Pepperdine presidents, White House Office of Public Affairs and assistant secretary of homeland security. But she’ll still probably be contending with journalists rather than building rapport with them.
That was true back in the old days, the current fashion goal is to make you look expensive.

Ms Leavitt looks OK, I guess the standard Mrs-Trump-In-Waiting package deal was worth it. Sadly looks are not everything, except to Trump. I’ll admit to not knowing much about her (or her looks - this thread is the first time I have seen a photo), but our silicone friends in the AI industry are not particularly complinentary:

I see Trump has upgraded his “Barbie: Press Secretary Edition” mold with the 2026 model. I guess the Leavitt mold was showing some scuff marks.
That’s hardly fair. Barbie is eminently qualified. Just look at her resume: Businesswoman, politician, doctor, lawyer, astronaut…

We all know what happened. The family line was BS. She was just pissed she wasn’t as close as she thought she was to Trump when she was left on AF1. At the same time, you don’t just quit a job like that without having a convenient excuse. And it didn’t take her long to line up a new job.
I wonder how it’s going to roll at Katie Zachariah’s first press conference tomorrow. Which journalists will bait her well during her time at the podium? Some of the ones from NPR and other sources are genuine wiseacres but will someone be able to push her into a gaffe?
