KBV2 out on DVD today.

After work, I’ll be going straight to the local record store to pick up my copy.

You know, I’ve now watched KBV1 about 5 times, and it does get better the more you watch it. It’s got some great lines in it. I was overwhemed by the violence when I first saw it, but now that I expect it, I can concentrate more on the rest of what’s good about this movie.

I really like the bride’s character. The music has really grown on me. That first song, “bang bang” is a classic, as is, what I’d call “the main theme”. The entire scene with the Texas cop is hilarious, from the shades on teh dashboard to the “son number one” line.

“They even shot that colored fella who played the pianah.”

KBV2 I didn’t like as much when I saw it, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and I’m excited to give it a couple of repeated viewings.
