I was really disappointed with her appearance on the cover of a women’s magazine - Marie Claire, I believe. They gave her the professional-supermodel-makeup artist makeover and made her look incredibly beautiful… but completely wiped out everything that is special about her face. They made her look exactly like every other woman who appears on the covers of those magazines. Seems like the women’s magazine industry is just bound and determined to force a certain ideal of beauty upon women.
I like the scene when she figured out that her husband’s best friend (played by Andrew Lincoln) was in love with her. She’s about to say something and then her expression changes very slightly. And she was great in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Yeah, Parminder Nagra was pretty yummy looking too.
I heard a rumour that the movie was originally intended to be about a lesbian relationship between the two. Doubtless they had to change the script because the movie cameras kept melting.
And Giles, thanks for the reassurance.
Or it’s just not a problem to some of us. Curves are good but not necessary.
Amen, brother. Amen.
Get your lesbian subplots out of my movie!
I keed. I keed.
