Poll: Keira Knightley, beautiful?

I realize that this is not exactly the most important topic ever, but I’m curious what people think.

I think she’s gorgeous. But yeah, she could use a little more meat on her bones.

As a fat women, I’m expected to say she needs a cheeseburger, but if that’s the shape she is, then that’s the shape she is and there’s nothing wrong with it. And yes, she’s beautiful.

It is a difficult poll to answer as is. She certainly isn’t ugly. I would think that almost anyone regularly cast as a romantic lead in Hollywood blockbusters would have to be physically beautiful. However, she just isn’t my cup of tea. In fact I think she has a bit of a “monkeyface”, she purses her lips out like she is hooting or something. She has a pretty smile though. And it isn’t her thinness that is a turn off as much as it is her boyish porportions, no hips, flat chest and all.

My objection to her purposed beauty is that I believe it is overhyped. IIRC some lad-mag named her as Britian’s most beautiful woman. Really? Because I see more beautiful women regularly at pubs on my visits to Britain.

In all I guess I’d have to say yes, she is beautiful, but like Audrey Hepburn, not really beautiful to me.

I don’t know about a cheeseburger so much but I do think she’d look even more beautiful if she had a few curves. She is lovely but so thin she looks sickly.

(another fat woman chiming in!)

Her face is stunning and she’s very fit. I’d never give someone crap for that.

Doesn’t really do anything for me. I don’t mind her as an actress, and she’s not exactly painful to look at, but beautiful? Nah.

She needs more than just a cheeseburger. Better toss in a shake and an order of fries.

I find her to have an absolutely beautiful face, even with that underbite. In most of the movies where I’ve seen her, she doesn’t look too skinny, but in some photographs, she just looks stick-thin.

+1

Isn’t it interesting how it’s considered socially acceptable to suggest that a woman needs to eat a cookie or a cheeseburger? In contrast, if you suggest that a woman needs to avoid the french fries – look out!

I think you’re going to find double standards almost everywhere.

Skin and bones, with a huge underbite. Not my cup of tea.

I think she’s beautiful but she that constant snarly thing she does gets on my nerves. Honey, “gritty determination” is not the only expression there is. I’ve also never seen a picture of her with her mouth closed. Elizabeth Hurley seems to have the same affliction.

I agree that she needs to get some meat in her, but I disagree that it need to be a cheeseburger.

If you take Keira Knightley, remove the underbite, add a few pounds, don’t you just end up with Natalie Portman?
Before Natalie turned into Skeletor, recently.

Portman has always struck me as too, how do I put it? … bright-eyed? She seems sort of unnaturally sparkly to me.

I like living in a world where I can choose between Kate Winslett and Keira Knightley for my fantasies, both exactly as they are (or not choose, if I’m feeling energetic)

I would, but I think I’d want Sudays off so I can rest.

Some women don’t age well, and she is one of them. She looked great in Bend It Like Beckham (which was about 8 years ago), but not so great now, and I think it’s because in that movie her youth worked with her face type and body type.

She is only 24 now, so it’s not like she is an old lady, but maybe her face type and body type work optimally for a teenage girl (like she was in Bend It Like Beckham) but not for an adult woman.

FTR, some women do age well, and one of the prime examples is Diane Lane, who, at 44, is amazing.

Maybe Keira simply needs to put on some meat on her bones.
