You don’t kill perfectly good chicks, so that leaves the guys. Any one of them could go, but Joey is good for a laugh, and Chandler is just his straight man, so that leaves Ross, who is basically useless.
This is the correct answer. But I picked Chandler. I’m not a violent person, but something about him makes me want to punch him straight in the nose.
As annoying as Ross was, he also got some of the best lines, and Ross/Rachel actually worked despite his being such a dweeb sometimes.

Why all the hate for Joey? He and Phoebe were there for basic comedy. I guess if you liked the storylines and sentimentality of the show they wouldn’t be your favorites, but I think they provided the best laughs.

I picked Ross. Joey & Chandler play off one another and, while I could have gone Monica, I figured more people would stop to watch Courtney Cox than David Schwimmer. Well, early season Cox anyway. Plus, Monica and Rachel are a pair and Phoebe is more amusing (less annoying?) than Ross.
I’m amazed that Ross is the runaway favorite answer to the question. Such hate! I think he’s a pretty funny character. Monica and Rachel were both smokin’ hawt to varying degrees throughout the show’s run, and usually funny, so they stay. Chandler and Joey have a great and funny bromance going on, so they stay (Chandler is my favorite character of the six, as it happens).
Phoebe was the least attractive of the three women and the most annoying (just edging out Rachel IMHO), so I’m afraid she’s the one who goes through the wood chipper. I’m sure she can sing a goofy song about it as she does.
I voted for Ross and I figured he’d be winning, but not by that margin. I thought Monica would get a lot more hate for being generally annoying. But yeah, Ross is just too damn whiney.
Color me surprised that psycho-spaz Monica Gellar hasn’t gotten more hate.
Phoebe is too pretty to die or even be mildly inconvenienced. Rachel and Monica are lesser in their pulchritude but still should be spared. Chandler is amusing and likeable. Ross is amusing to watch suffer. So Joey.

Joey was arguably the “handsome” one. Personally, I liked Chandler’s dry wit and quick humor.
Poor Ross. Now I wish I’d voted for Monica. Nah, keep Ross killed-- so long as it was after the leather pants episode.
Me, too. Chandler most reliably made me laugh, year after year (although, come to think of it and despite my vote, Phoebe had my all-time favorite line from the show).
Well, I guess Phoebe, because that would still leave her evil twin, so Lisa Kudrow would still get work. And maybe later it would turn out that it was really her evil twin who got killed. It would be a Very Special Episode.
