Joey/Phoebe: Basically the same person as the dumb comic relief. Chandler is the smart relief with the sarcasm and being one step ahead, these two are the dumb relief by ignorance and getting themselves in situations. So they have to stay.

…Rachel.
Yeah the will-they-or-won’t-they with Ross was a huge through-line in the series. But she is easily replaceable as a character by virtually any other “pretty female” and her original content added to the show is way less than the others

I voted for Rachel without giving it much thought, then immediately wished I’d voted for Ross instead. He’s definitely worse, but for some reason I kind of drew a blank on him while briefly running over the Friends characters in my mind.

Oh wait, I have to think of this from a writer’s perspective? Then kill Monica. I don’t like any of the characters, but Monica was never interesting or funny. The show would have lost nothing if she’d died early on.
On The Dope no less! Isn’t this the place where we’re supposed to support nerdy scientists? Phoebe has to be the one to kill. Everyone else is worthless, but harmless. She would be an anti-vaxxer and therefore it’s to the benefit of society to take her out.
She gave three babies to her stupid half-brother and his much older wife. What makes you think she’s bothered by a little thimerosal?

Good point, but Phoebe was always into that new-agey woo stuff (didn’t she claim to be psychic?), so it seemed to follow to me. I think I just hold a grudge against her because she “won” the evolution argument with Ross in the “I can’t believe you caved” episode.

If I had to kill someone from the show, it would probably be Carol, I never liked the way she let Susan butt into the whole baby situation to the point where Susan actually proposed the kid having her last name appended to Susan’s and fuck off Ross you’re just the stupid male sperm guy.
