Guess Dopers who like “24” aren’t the only ones who find her behavior a little frustrating…
Poop, he gave a shout-out to the TWoP people for their nicknames.
Jeez, man, don’t encourage them! Those freaking nicknames make discussing 24 there impossible!
If it weren’t for nicknames, I wouldn’t know what I was talking about. I’ve never been to TVWP’s boards, but I know I would never be able to talk about that bald guy who’s name I don’t know that wants to get Palmer out of the presidency without calling him “Bald Guy” or “Professor Baldy” or “the guy who looks like Dick Cheney, even though he isn’t Palmer’s VP.” The only way I can tell the Warner sisters apart is by calling them “Good Warner” and “Evil Warner.”
That said, I can’t believe the guy at the Washington Post likes Kim’s antics. She’s stupider than Homer Simpson-and her antics appear to be written by Ian Maxtone-Graham and produced by Mike Scully (and possibly the rest of his family).
mobo: I think there’s a difference between referring to someone by a description and inventing a nickname based on some obscure reference. If you say “the blonde girl, the daughter” one could probably figure out that they were talking about Kim. But “Spawn”? How the hell is anyone supposed to figure that out unless they already know?
