James Lileks is a columnist for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. His site contains lots of pop culture from the 1920’s thru the 1950’s. You can spend many lunch hours going through the vast collections posted here.

Thisone is my favorite. The first time I read it I was at work and almost had an aneurism trying not to laugh out loud.

OMG yes! Looking at those pics just creeped me out–I’ve been reading Lileks for years, too. Maybe we should ask around here and see if anybody ever went there—will do right now.
