Kindergarten Cop

if so, I’ll bet Dad’s pretty bushed by now.

No no, Twins is the masterpiece.

I haven’t seen Twins yet but I’m looking for it

I just read up IMDb on this and then followed a link to Junior.

I really had no idea.

I really, really had no idea the utter shite hollywood was putting out that long ago.

Seriously, I’m 34 and still had no idea such shite got a green light.

Ahnold as a pregnant man?! Where in hell was the appeal?! I mean… Ahnold… pregnant!?

Who the hell ever thought that was a good film idea?

Still better than the crap they put out today. TWO Garfield CGI movies? How does anyone possibly think the first one was good idea, let alone so good that it merited a sequel?

Dude, for like 5 years, Arnold was the king of Comedy. Any Arnold comedy was a box office smash. Besides Junior, Twins and Kindergarten Cop, he also made Jingle All the Way. Then The Last Action Hero and Batman and Robin killed his career so he had to get into politics.

No lie, the second stupid Garfield movie is the highest grossing animated film ever in France. It beat the fucking Lion King.

Arnold used to say that every other movie he did, he wanted it to be something his kids could see. I think it’s sweet. I mean, I’m not watching Jingle All the Way, but nobody’s forcing me to.

I still don’t know who the audience for Kindergarten Cop. It’s got too much swearing and people getting shot and drug use and a kid getting kidnapped at gunpoint to be appropriate for the children.

Yeah, this has to be one of the greatest lines ever.

Yoo havv vhwaut yoo want, giff zeh people zeh ahr!

It’s for my parents.

I must be old enough to be your mother. I love this movie!

“It’s not a too-mah!!!”

“I’m not a policeman I’m a princess!”

Hubby likes to use that line when he thinks I’m acting like… ahem… a bit of a princess.

Do you tell him who has what parts?

 I’d like to see it again. As I remember it, it would have been a much stronger movie without the crime/chase element. Arnold with the kids was genuinely funny. And everybody loves Linda Hunt.

Yeah, it had the same problem as Miss Congeniality - a good idea mixed in with a crime plot which was only tacked on as an excuse for the cute idea. In neither movie does the crime part of it make any real sense.

The other nice thing about Kindergarten Cop is the great score by Randy Edelman.

Two things about that quote:
Whenever I’m watching American Football and I hear *Amani Toomer’s *name I always pronounce it in my head like Arnold.

Whenever someone says that they have a headache I always say: It might be a tumor. I’m always disappointed if they don’t say “It’s naht a toomah!”
