I thought he was insect-ing with Auntie-Queen. Or implied. After his return dinner, Silas finds her in the kitchen looking for a missing shoe that she was wearing earlier. Or do I clearly need to watch that one again?
I was wary at the beginning because despite using such a big canvas, the show seemed to simplistically portray certain policy decisions as “good” and “evil.” Peace with Gath and Michelle’s healthcare plan were sponsored by the “good” characters, and we were expected to cheer them on as they were opposed by the “evil” characters. But the show actually went and showed consequences of these moves, which are not all sunshine and roses. Like.
Yeah, they really stepped it up with this episode, it’d be too bad if this show went away.
Could you spoiler the Princess bit for me? My satellite conked out and I missed the episode.
She saw a Mother and son in isolation because of the plague. She went into the room when the Mother died to comfort the child. This made the King isolate the city, He talked the Priest or whatever into speaking to the people, to remain in their homes for the twelve hours that the plague would be contagious. The city was spared, as it were.
Did that have anything to do with the vague promise she had made to her father that prevented her from seeing David anymore?
I don’t believe so. She did it because she felt for the child. The hospital folks were just waiting for him to die,
Bump. I like episodes where David tuxedo’es up
I like episodes with automatic weapons.
That’s why everyone loves James Bond-you get both!
That was cool at the end of Casino Royale when he shot the guy with a Skorpin, Bad guy cires out “Who are you?” Bond ambles over, (though not in a tux as I recall) and says, “Bond. James Bond.”

Hm…still midway through the new episode. Silas’ history is darned interesting. He’s got the one mystery man in the cell, and now there’s the lady in black and their deal. I hope they’ll be able to flesh these two trails out.
I’m
not
sure
if
I should
spoiler
this
or not
But isn’t that the former King who everyone believes to be dead?
Yes, I’m quite sure it is.
Well yeah, but there certainly seems to be quite a bit history between them. I mean it’s obvious who the lady in black is, but you’d still hope that she’s more than a boogey man who only appears in one episode and has no other effect on the characters beyond that.
I’m just saying that in both of these instances, there seems to be more story there waiting to be told.
The lady in black?
I just saw it today.
Uriah Heep has a song, “Lady in Black”.
The woman who made a deal with Silas for his daughter’s life is the angel of Death.
I’m too lazy to write spoiler tags.
But yes, what carnivorousplant said.
