That’s all.
I do so love your way with words, dear. Who else can put so much in two sentences?
And yeah, they do suck. What else is new?
As I’ve mentioned in another thread: Isn’t it ironic that a bunch of Knick rejects kicked Knick butt?
I used to refer to the Raptors as Knick Jr, but now I guess I’ll have to stop that.
Ousted in the first round. In the Garden. Suck asses.
Woo hoo! RRRRRRRRRRRRAPTORS!
Raptors vs. Sixers? Raptors IN Six.
The Knicks looked overmatched. I will say this, though; I am thoroughly converted around Latrell Sprewell. He put in 100%, and then he put in some more. If his teammates had played half as well as he did they’d have won.
To be fair to them, the Knicks have been running on empty for the past four years, beset by injuries bad condidtioning and lack of dominating talent. They made it as far as they did on sheer willpower, gut coaching by Van Gundy, and luck in facing teams that were mostly one-dimensional. But now, it is not enough anymore, as teams are getting more balanced as well as maintaining top-notch talent. They will have to revamp in order to compete against the new breed.
I liked Latrell Sprewell before it was cool to like him. Even though he choked that coach.
Knicks suck!!
I’m sorry, I just felt that needed repeating.
Look on the bright side–the Rangers and the Islanders suck even worse.
I just always assumed the coach was asking for it.
Heh. Not to excuse the inexcusable, but everyone who has ever played for P.J. wanted to choke him at one point or another. Especially the pros.
Latrell was just the one who did the deed.
Tradeja, Bulls for Knicks?
oh well
I know how it feels. But I think the Knicks are a good team that caught a bad break. They need Camby, and he was so obviously not himself after the hostage incident.
They do need something though, to be the elite of the East. Probably a point guard.
The Knicks, like the Mets, must suck. This is a different stage of suckiness than the Red Sox. The Red Sox are doomed. The Cubs are underdogs. But the Knicks and Mets must suck. It’s not especially their fault. It’s not even the fault of the team or the players. They just have no heart. Sprewell is a good player, and I praise the sports gods that Ewing is finally gone, having cast his shadow over Mordor for entirely too long, but they must, must, must suck. Even if they get to the finals, even if the Mets get to the world series, they must still suck. It’s a trade-off, though.
We have the Yankees.
