They prefer local submissions…I’d be willing to head up the Florida/SE one if anyone is interested.
You can also do a whole afghan if you want, but that can take time…I think it’s easier to whip up a square and send it off.
Thanks for the link. This is a great way to use up/donate our leftover yarn for a good cause. I don’t know if there are any Warm Up America parties in my area.
Right now I’m making an afghan for the Linus Foundation, they’re another organization that makes blankets for charity. I only just heard about them in my local paper last week, they’re having a get together in our library on Feb. 9th.
