I can’t tell you how many hours I have already wasted trying to find one of those “demotivational posters.” I thought I’d ask for your help.
Look at the still picture at Keyboard Cat | Know Your Meme and notice the picture on the post to this gal’s left (our right) that appears to be a person’s head. On closer inspection it looks like the text says:
My best guess is that if this was an actual poster of that sort that it has been removed from the searchable places for that sort of thing.
I hope I’m wrong and that one of you may be able to provide a link to the real thing.
I have no objection to the idea of this thread becoming a game or something of that sort, but this is a more or less serious request for help to locate this specifc poster.
It’s a picture of Kimberly Vlaminck the girl who claimed to have 56 stars tattooed on her face while she was asleep…but turned out to be lying (tattoos are real, but she was not asleep).
So the joke is that she became a “star” for her story but also has stars on her face.
Someone just made a poster at a site like FakePosters and printed it out. If you Google her name you can find that very image and make your own poster if you’d like!
The latter. I just got hooked on the idea of tracking it down for a better view. The background clutter in the KYM clips has fascinated me a lot and that one shot had my attention for most of the week!
Excellent! That’s close to what I had begun to suspect.
Thanks to both of you for doing in less than an hour what I had been unable to do myself since last year!
If it makes any difference, I got into this whole thing trying to track down details of the Huntsville AL story about Bed Intruder.
Bell Book and Candle (1958) was one of Kim Novak’s better roles, along with Picnic and Vertigo. Fun story, good music, decent James Stewart work. You ought to see it.
Other than the movie the only time I can remember seeing “bell, book and candle” is your handle.
If I were to make a list of top 100 all-time favorite movies, I’m pretty sure at least 20 of them are from the 50’s.
