How about a cake decorated with Godiva chocolates and Russell Stover butter bons, so that people could actually eat the decorations? Those sugar roses on some wedding cakes are pretty to look at, but people always say “Oh, how pretty!” and don’t eat them.
When my brother was married, he had a “two-in-one” wedding cake. Two tiers of the cake were chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse filling, and two tiers were white cake with a white chocolate-raspberry mousse filling. The entire cake was frosted with white buttercream frosting and decorated with frosting swirls. It was so good. Some of the people at the reception tried a little of both kinds of cake, while some people only wanted to try one kind. There was enough of both flavors to go around.
Chocolate flavoured french fries. I read an article that said some company was thinking of marketing them. I should check on chowhound and see if they have. Yuck.
Oh, my! Amazing! They’ve done it! The article said they were also bringing out sky blue fires, and cinnamon flavored ones. I don’t want to try them, but I sure want to hear how they were from some other brave soul…
For the OP, roast beef flavoured vodka (combine it with chile pepper vodka for that Texas taste)
It’s “Funky Fries” by Ore-Ida. I saw them in the grocery store last week. They also have some ** blue** ones, (not sure what flavor they are), and cinnamon flavored ones. I tried the sour cream & onion ones, which weren’t too bad except for the texture. Imagine instant mashed potatoes, molded into a fries shape, then baked.
