L.A. Dopers: Dinner and a Movie?

Yes, dear, I’ve forgiven you. I’m all done being mad now. And I’m sorry for the rant. It was just an extraordinarily frustrating day. Thank you for coming by with the roses & card, though. It was very sweet of you and the roses are really beautiful!

~wipes a tear away~ I love a happy ending

I’ve been around, girl, just more lurking than anything. I’ve wanted to do DopeFest stuff but haven’t been able to get out much lately. I had bronchitis at the last DoperFest, was well for a week or so , then got a lovely UTI (during parent conference week, of course), and then had a gnarly cold for Thanksgiving. Wheeeeeeeeee! (See what happens when you ask how I’m doing?)

But now, I seem to be well. <looks around suspiciously for some germ waiting to pounce now that I’ve said that>

Married life rocks. Just put up our 1st Xmas tree yesterday. Have had 2 flat tires in 2 weeks–on new tires. Teaching is going great now–the weird over-reacting-bitching-out coworker has been apologetic and seems sane now. Blah blah blah.

Regardless of all that truly Mundane Stuff I shared, let’s get together some time for, uh, something. Keep me informed–as I come to the boards fairly erratically, Email me at the address linked here for any thing that comes up, k?

Hooray for the roses and happy ending!

Hey, hey, HEY! Knock it off, ladies!

Huh? Whut’s that? Roses?

Ne’er mind.

Gee, Shayna your problems sound nearly as bad as what kept me away: either food poisoning or a 24-hour flu, I’m not sure which.

Thank goodness for Pepto-Bismol.
