A few of you have mentioned having a good time at our recent gathering, and there was much discussion about a Roscoe’s outing to follow up on the success. Beyond that, a couple of you have mentioned that maybe doing some bowling would be fun, and if you know me at all, you know that I can’t resist the opportunity to go bowling.
So I’m throwing this out there, way in advance, with the hopes that I’ll get some feedback at worse, or at best, you’ll all agree to this right away. I’m suggesting Saturday, December 9 for a Roscoe’s/bowling outing for any and all in the LA area. This is not intended to be the “big” Dopefest that has been proposed for 2008, but obviously, the more the merrier here.
Just under two weeks to go, so I figured I’d bring this up again. This is an event where size doesn’t matter (heh), and I do have a small group of folks who have committed to being there, so I believe it’s a go no matter what. But I want to start compiling a list of who is actually able to attend.
All feedback is appreciated! Good food and bowling, people!

It depends on what time. If it’s around the same time as the last one, sure.

I’m thinking this will be another early evening affair. Definitely hoping you two will make it.
For real. I think silenus needs to be persuaded, rather subliminally even.

Subliminally? I was thinking a swift kick to the shin. But we can try your way first if you like. cough
Does anyone have a preference regarding bowling or eating first? My inclination was to do Roscoe’s and then head to the bowling alley, but it occurs to me that people may not want to attempt that sort of athleticism on a full stomach. What say you?
Roscoe’s is open until midnight on Saturdays, and the bowling alley is open until 1am, so we aren’t under any time constraints either way.
Asimovian, how is it that we work 2 cat sneezes away from each other and I never see you?? Which court are you holed up in lately?
A reliable source informs me that you and I may meet for lunch in the near future. Our paths will cross soon.
How does the length of a cat sneeze compare to a cubit, by the way?
No court for me this week so far. I’m holed up in my office today. But I get to visit beautiful downtown Perris, CA tomorrow, so that’ll be…something, or other.
