Do have a preference? Natural? Shaved? Trimmed? Shaped into a heart or some other design?
Natural, unless there’s so much hair that it looks as if a bear is hibernating down there. For the extremely hairy, a bit of trimming is fine. Shaving is a huge turn-off for me. Reminds me of little boys and eunuchs.
Trimming. I keep mine in check, so should he. But the whole bald thing weirds me out - makes it look pre-pubescent to me. But YMMV.
(male) I have mine to just above where it goes from “slightly fuzzy” to “scratchy” since, presumably, scratchy would be bad, hence, a tad longer so as to be comfortable but not get in the way

Although I was with a guy who was very big on being (both of us) completly shaven. More sensation. Now, I don’t care that much, inless he’s growing a shubbery down there. But I’m staying smooth.
Fluffy and clean. I can stand a whole lotta hair, as long as it smells like soap and not ball butter.

Whatever else – clean. I haven’t encountered anything besides au naturel, but clean is a must whatever the length.
Depends of the texture; if you’re wire-like, you might keep it shaved, but just a trim is fine otherwise.
Mens are supposed to have hair. Bare = icky/creepy. I have a primoridial attraction to fellows what gots fur. A couple curls out the opened v at the neck of the shirt and some instinct from way back in time wants me to pounce. It’s as well I’m civilized.
As long as it doesn’t get stuck in my teeth.
Biggest requirement is clean.
Going to go with clean here as well but I prefer it when my boyfriend shaves coz it’s all nice and smooth and it doesn’t catch in my teeth.

Appearance-wise, I don’t care as long as it’s clean and isn’t unruly. When it comes to certain activities, however, shaved balls are definitely a plus.
I hate getting hair in my mouth. Even a strand hair of my own squicks me out and I must stop whatever I’m doing until I fish it out. Shaving the balls definitely cuts down on that.
Clean and trimmed, that’ll do for me.
Clean is the most important thing. I don’t like totally bare at all on guys; I just think it looks really weird. If he has a wild jungle down there that necessitates hiring guides to find anything, trimming is appreciated, though.
I suppose any answer is better than “sticking to a mottled lump of flesh on the side of the head of that rusty axe kept out in the woodshed.” :eek:
