Available now as a pre-order with an expected release date of March 3; 12 songs including “Baby Please Don’t Go” and of course “Danger Zone” (with Kenny Loggins himself). Don’t know if it will change upon release, but right now all the songs are listed as “Album Only”, meaning you can’t buy singles and will have to spring for the whole album @ $11.99 (I’m seriously considering doing so).
For me, that was the worst one of the season. I liked a couple of the ones that people were tepid on here, but yesterday’s just didn’t do it for me. I had my hopes up after the last couple of episodes.
The show seems to be on auto-pilot in Season 5. Most of the jokes fall flat and both Lana’spregnancy and Pam’s cocaine addiction lost my interest multiple episodes ago. Even the voice actors sound tired (A very bad sign).
Hopefully, this will turn out to be an extended dream sequence or something because the series is beginning to fail.
Yeah, pretty much the same here. I mean, this season overall has been the least enjoyable (IMHO), but the series sets a high bar and I’ve been able to enjoy and laugh at almost all of this year’s episodes. I’m not even sure I cracked a smile this episode. The timing was just off, the pace was much slower, the jokes were sparse, and even bits of the animation bugged me for some reason.
I thought this week’s episode was an improvement over the last few, mainly because the plot was something other than “They lose a bunch of cocaine because of Pam”.
Great moments;
Tensions rising between Mallory and Krieger’s anime wife
“Kriegerrands”
“K-Log” apparently having the briefcase from Pulp Fiction
The explanation for the swimming pool
Woodhouse playing drums in Cherlene’s band
Archer’s love of Jim Messina
“Kenny Loggins? Like from Kenny Loggins Roasters?”
I agree. I read the posts here before I finally watched this week’s episode, so I was expecting the worst, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as last week’s. It was tolerable, and I did actually crack a few smiles and laugh.
