Good Morning! I have the week off, as Mrs Magill and I will head off to Hershey, PA tomorrow for the RV show. I was surprised that it’s only a twelve hour drive. We’ll be there for Wednesday and most of Thursday. We’ll head home Thursday afternoon and find a place to overnight for a bit and finish the drive Friday morning.
Coq au Vin II (electric bugaloo) is in the slow cooker. This time it’s plugged in! Mrs Magill asked if it were plugged in this time, then immediately apologized for the sarcastic question. I reassured her that it was, in fact, a completely reasonable question with my track record. Oddly enough, the kitchen smells really good this time.
I keep looking at the box of Estradiol patches in my apothecary drawer and think about how much of a big, unprecedented step that’s going to be. I think I’m ready.
Still is. I need to tell him. I’m not afraid he’ll reject me. He’s shown repeatedly that his love for my brother, sister, and me is unconditional. I just know it will cause him to worry about me and the road I’m on.
I’m still ticked that the birds picked my raspberries clean this summer. I had only managed one small harvest. In fact, everything I’d grown this year has been a disappointment, except the potatoes. I’ve almost worked my way through them.
That’s where I’d gotten that one from.
