I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what the series was going for.
And, yeah, Shirley probably would be harder, but that’s what would make it sweeter. But only for a one-night stand–I’d hate to be in a relationship with her. Laverne I’d be happy just to be friends with her, if that’s all she’d go for.

Depends on which way you swing (but yeah, I definitely agree with you). 
Both Laverne and Shirley are pretty nasty, imo. Both girls were pretty much losers who used each other as a crutch. And my hand looks a lot better than either of them.
I imagine that if I woke up the next morning next to Laverne, I’d recoil from the shock of rolling over & seeing her, then I’d feel like “so, you did the nasty with Laverne- big whoop. Who hasn’t been there?”
I’d feel much more satisfaction having done the deed with Shirley, b/c rightly or wrongly, I’d get the feeling that I was on a much, much shorter list.

I always thought that Shirley was the cute one. Worth the wait.
Perhaps. But maybe not. Maybe you put in work to get her to give it up and you find out you would have had more fun with Lavern. Look at thispic. Which one of these girls looks like they know their way around a…milk and pepsi?
