Do you know who "Squiggy" is?

and how old are you?

Yes. 44.

I can narrow it down to one of two people. I’m 39.

Yup. 40-50 box.

Assuming you’re talking about the one I’m thinking of, yes. I watched reruns of L&S growing up.
I’m 32, but watched a lot of Nick at Night.
I wasn’t that into that show, but I’ve seen every episode (multiple times) of Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi, Bob Newhart, Newhart, Rhoda, I Love Lucy. While most of L&S slipped under my radar (that and Welcome back Kotter never really clicked for me), those shows, in general, I liked. But I think I’m something of an anomaly. Most people my age didn’t watch old tv and movies every night.

ETA, It seems I clicked NO, that should be YES.

I’m 27, and yes, I know who he is, even though I’ve never seen an episode of the show. I’m actually more familiar with the actor from A League of Their Own.

I was never a huge fan but for some reason I know that his name was Andrew Squigmon (perhaps officially spelled “Squigman” but pronounced like Squigmon).

I know of a character called “Squiggy”, but I’m not sure if it’s the same one you’re thinking of, since the one I’m thinking of is never referred to by himself.

Hellow.

58 for another couple weeks. My first exposure to Michael Lander was through The Credibility Gap. Check out Squiggy meets Mr Burns in Who’s On First.

Yes is on third.

I know. 41.

But now I’ll always remember the actor for his fine work in Lynch’s “On the Air”.

Without looking, I know he was a recurring character on Laverne and Shirley, along with his partner “Lenny”.

Offhand, I can’t recall who played Squiggy and Lenny, though I think Squiggy’s real name was David and Lenny is now married to Annette O’Toole.
After checking: Squiggy was played by David Lander, Lenny was Michael McKean.

By the way, I’m 44.

34, yes. I also know Twiggy and Ziggy.

HELLO!! I even knew he was a baseball scout.

I thought you meant this (slight spelling difference). But I also know the one you really were referring to.

I’m 45, and I would really like to know who the other one is…

Yes. 44.

Yes. 44 yr old.

Lenny, I’d assume. I’m not sure I know which is which myself.

David Lander is a great natural clown. If he wasn’t suffering from MS I’m sure he would still be making frequent television appearances. Squiggy the character is inseperable from his less interesting friend Lenny. McKean’s had some success as an actor on his own, but he owes it all to his exposure with Squiggy on Laverne and Shirley. So does the rest of the cast as I think about it. Squiggy’s trademark entrance always brought the biggest natural applause on the show.
