I haven’t been able to find any info on this anywhere, but want to know if it’s possible.
I have a mouse with a scroll wheel.
I also have a compaq keyboard with soft keys.
One of the soft keys is configured to Mute the speakers (this is at work).
What i want to day is make the scroll wheel activate the soft key which activates mute.
Sorry, probably not going to happen anytime soon. I don’t think that the driver that enables the wheel will allow you to use it for something like that. You could try finding a third-party program at somewhere like http://www.hotfiles.com that will allow you to assign that function to the wheel. Try searching for “mouse utilities” or something like that.
