LDS General Conference This Weekend (cross-posted)

For those who are interested, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
is broadcasting its Semi-Annual conference, featuring speakers from among the
ranks of the leaders of the church, on Saturday (today) and Sunday. Go to http://www.ksl.com for info on what television and radio stations it will be
on. Please don’t flame me–I did say, “For those who are interested,” after
all.

Conference will be on live tv in Utah at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, then 2:00-4:00
pm, then a Priesthood session for priesthood holders at 6:00-8:00 pm (I think).
Sunday’s sessions will be at the same time, in Mountain Time. There are many
cable stations that are carrying these meetings, and ksl.com lists them.

Here’s your chance to hear a real live prophet.

“real live” as opposed to real dead? Really alive? Real life, maybe?

A “prophet” as in “LDS card member holder”, or as in “I can make prophecies” kinda’ guy?

Snark, you asked not to be flamed, and I’m not flaming you, ok? I’m genuinely interested in “video-attending” this conference, but I don’t think I can do it here in México. But… your last line… I don’t get it. Therefore my questions above. K?

See ya’.

LOL, I mean a real prophet who’s living in our time.

The latter. He is also the President of the Church. Members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will also speak. If you can’t find a radio or tv station in your area that broadcasts it, it’s at your local LDS ward building. It’s probably in the phone book.

Also the former.
