"Leave Donald Alone!" Pleads His Press Secretary

Really? I mean, with trump being elected only 8 years later, doesn’t he deserve some credit?

Just like we handed a healthy economy over to an idiot before. Hmmm. Something seems familiar about this.

Trump may have already asked for credit:

See, Obama supporters are taking credit for jobs babyhands has created.

Yes, we will see, won’t we.

What should we do in the mean time?

Point and laugh at the morons that voted for Trump.

You’re probably not gonna like my first suggestion.

doorhinge can certainly teach us about laughing. And he’s always available to point at.

Liberals believe that decisions should be made by a strong central authority. Conservatives believe that decisions should be made by whatever level of government is controlled by conservatives.

Keep crying like little babies?

I’m not religious, but prayer might be a good idea.

Yes, it is stupid that Republicans now define Putin and the Russians as their bestest friends, while calling their fellow Americans “enemies”, and trashing the Intelligence community and other public servants.

But there you have it.

Liberals believe that decisions should be made that do the greatest amount of good for the citizens and the country. Conservatives believe that decisions should be made that benefit individuals regardless of whether the results are beneficial to the citizens and the country. Liberal: ‘A rising tide raises all boats.’ Conservative: ‘I’m looking out for Numero Uno. I’ve got mine, Jack. Keep your hands off of my stack!’

Well, then, I’m sure you can provide three cites off the top of your head of Obama’s press secretary engaging in similar whining about how the mockery his boss endures is soooo unfaaaair…

Apparently, “sub-prime ARM debacle” is the fancy-schmancy scientimifical term for “handed a healthy economy over to an idiot”.

You’d make a good witness for executions. “Look at him! Crying like a little baby!”

There has to be an updated definition.

“A liberal is someone who wants a government”?

How’s that work? It certainly reflects 21st century USA.

That signature Hahahaha is so eloquent, and like it’s author, perfect in it’s braying simplicity.

Tradition!

Is this the same D. Trump who loves to mock and insult everyone else? Fuck him. If he can’t take it he should GTFO.

I see you took a course in Cultural Revolution 101, where false villainization of one’s opponent is de rigueur, and that you apparently swallowed it all wholeheartedly and graduated with honors.

I’m quite unaware of any legislative attempts on the part of conservatives to do any of these things, much of which is nonsense on its face. Plus it was my assertion that liberals seek to use government to force their will on the populace that this drivel is in response to. But to address your points:

  1. Conservatives couldn’t care less about how many jobs you have, nor do they deliberately seek to keep anyone trapped for fear of losing their insurance. They simply don’t want government run health care because they trust competition and profit motive to result in their getting better care than they would through a rationed (and rationing is not only inevitable but unavoidable) government system ruled over and administered by nameless and faceless bureaucrats. They also know that in virtually every country with universal health care, long waits to see specialists and to get needed surgeries is the norm. And then we have the inevitable matter of ‘death panels’, which in reality would simply be functionaries in cubicles following government directives and denying expensive procedures and medications because their actuarial tables show that the patient’s age or condition doesn’t justify the expense.

All of the above is what conservatives are really thinking. But liberals have long known, thanks to the likes of Karl Marx, that to foster revolution one must demonize the motives of their enemies. This serves both to short-circuit rational debate and to energize and impassion people toward their side. So what we hear about conservatives from the manipulative leaders of the left and their gullible lackeys who swallow every word, is that conservatives want people trapped in jobs they don’t like, or we want to see people dying for lack of insurance we selfishly don’t want to pay for, etc., etc, etc.

The same crap comes into play with abortion as well, where the meme from the left is that conservatives want to control what women can do with their own bodies. The truth is that they don’t. What they try to have control over is what women can do to someone else’s body - a body they created, and had no say so whatever in its own creation at that. This stuff about us trying to deny women control over their own bodies is merely a smokescreen, and a deliberately inflammatory one, designed to deflect attention from the true fact, which is that after a certain point, a living, feeling and sentient human being is being killed, often in horrific and painful ways, in order to serve the convenience of the person who created it.

So again you see that the conservative position is not driven by mean or punitive motives. To the contrary, it’s driven by empathetic, sympathetic and humanitarian concerns about human life. In our view it’s those who champion abortion who are the mean, cruel and heartless ones.

The only thing in your list that bears any semblance to reality is in regard to your assertion that conservatives (or at least those in leadership positions) resist acceptance of certain forms of love. In this case I’ll agree you have a point, but these attitudes are changing as people become more familiar with and acquainted with gay people and learn that their prejudices are unfounded. But the rest of your list is just inaccurate and inflammatory poppycock.
