I have no illusions about everyone liking my posts. But everyone can read them without trying to figure out WTF I’m saying. Which makes me wonder how you saw my reply to this thread. :dubious: And if you believe your posts are anything other than boring and unimaginative, please provide an example.
Here’s the problem as I see it. This board, like it or not, has a certain posting ***style ***to it. To ignore that style is SK’s right, I suppose, but one-trick-ponies usually have a short life span here. They become tiresome.
I didn’t read his posts until this thread and had never heard of SK until this thread, so I’m not too worried about it. Why you are, however, is really quite telling.
But the basis (for example ‘no more than 1 percent of your threads may be posted while stoned/pretending to be a gangsta’) would be arbitrary. Why one percent instead of two? And it would be easy to avoid any rule like that anyway. Make a couple of ‘me too’ posts and you’re back under the magic number. I think ‘once in a while but not every freaking night’ is a reasonable guideline.
And yet we’re not banning him and haven’t warned him. The thread is not necessary and neither is this hostility.
