I “accidentally” forgot to check in last week because after my weekend of debauchery I was +8 back to 392. This morning I was back to -3 so I’m back. If I can keep down the drinking between now and Thanksgiving I should end up down 10 since I’m back at the gym.
Nice work with the weights there Santo you’ll have passed me real soon I’m only benching 185 for three sets of ten. I still haven’t got back to doing leg workouts. Any how keep up the good work everyone only two weeks to go. and then a lifetime after that
I’ll join everyone here, but I only expect to lose about two pounds in the two weeks left before Thanksgiving. Hell, I’d be happy if I lost one pound in two weeks. At this time I only can exercise three times a week. Although I only have a few more pounds to lose anyways.
Thanks for checking in everyone. You’re doing really well! Inspire me!
After a couple of birthday parties this last weekend, I lost .6 only.
For a total of -6.6 since the challenge started. Doesn’t look like 15 is in the cards
Last night at Weight Watchers we did a dry run of Thanksgiving dinner–I’m honored to have been invited to a couple of friends’ houses but have to think about how to control myself!
Drop 15 lbs by Thanksgiving? Easy, just do what my dad did one Christmas – slip when taking the turkey out of the oven.
Well, I don’t think I’ve lost any weight, but I’ve been putting on quite a bit of muscle mass. My chest is starting to fill out on the top and sides, and I have to pull my sleeves up past my biceps so they don’t pinch me when I bend my arm again. I’ll still be aiming for the original 15 by Christmas, but the gains in muscle mass are coming to quickly for me to slack on my weight routine during this bounce back period.
I’ve been playing a bit of racquetball for cardio, and have been keeping to a fairly strict diet. I’m quite excited for the rugby season to start again, working out with a goal is fun!
I’m down 6lbs as of this morning. It’ll be close but I’ve got a chance for 10 by Thanksgiving, I’ve been fluctuating between 376 and 378 this week. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how much of that is because my lifting is falling behind. My lifting partner has been bailing on me, we both fell into the same run and stopped working out but now I’m back and he’s enjoying his indolence, but I think it should pick up between Thanksgiving and going home for Christmas.
Nice work, Santo keep it up.
I’m down 7 pounds, as of today; however, whenever I’m within 10-15 pounds of my goal weight, I fluctuate so much it’s not even funny. Anyway, yeah, I’m not gonna make the whole 15 by Thanksgiving, but 10 down isn’t too bad! Good job everyone. I’m so glad you’re all hanging in there. Acountability and commiseration do help, especially during the holidays!
