Let's hear your weird/funny RPG character names!

Ok back when I played Anarchy Online I had some goofy character names:

There was a race called Atroxes, who were the stereotypical “big, strong, dumb guy”.
I had an Atrox Enforcer (me hit things!) named Arnieforprez.
At one point I decided to make an Atrox Metaphysicist (pet summoner), figuring that I’d get the highest level pets a little slower but have tons of health. I named him Cromulent, after a word Homer Simpson made up to describe rich, articulate people. It just seemed appropriate, but sadly not many knew what it meant.
I also had a female engineer named Toasterwoman. The backstory was that her husband was a toaster repair technician who was “accidentally” killed by Omni-tech, so she switched sides and took up a crusade against them.
Had a Trader character named Nutrimatic, from the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.

Druid or druid type characters are always either Unwashed or Neverbathes, or on a few occasions SmellyHippie. Hmm, sensing a pattern here…

I had a Frenzy barbarian in Diablo 2 (speed increases with every hit) named TooMuchCoffee.
Also have Barbarians or big dumb warrior types in several games named AfraidofDogs.

I generally prefer “serious” names to puns, but have been known to go there occasionally.

In Diablo 2, I have a Meteor/Blizzard specialist names Katie Boundary. The K/T Boundary is the name (recently out of fashion) for the layer that marks the impact of the meteor that killed the nonavian dinosaurs, which presumably was followed by an impact winter.

I also have an Assassin specializing in Phoenix Strike named Hooked On Phoenix, and a fast claw-user named Claudia Allup. And a Barbarian who protects other characters’ health (with Battle Orders) and attacks with Whirlwind…naturally named Spin Doctor.

In City of Heroes I had a Street Justice Scrapper named Sesame Street Justice (costume was a large yellow bird). Not really a pun, but another character whose principal powers were large-area explosions centered on herself that knocked everyone down was named Daisycutter.

One of my favorites to actually play (because of the gameplay, not the nameplay) was a Storm/Darkness Defender named the Rainy Knight.

It’s not completely the same, but you get/name characters in Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer.

My crown jewel is a Drell Assassin that I named “Nelson Mandrella”

A friend who plays CoH makes characters just for puns and never plays them.

He made one character with a red long sleeved pullover shirt and black pants. He named him Captain Slogg.

I played a Tauren druid in WoW and named him Raisedbycows.

In EQ, I saw an ogre woman named Tigole Bitties.

The D&D character I played the longest and had the most fun with was named “Brillig.” I guess it sounded gnome-y at the time.

My video game chars tend to be named Bjorn or Nigel.

Many years ago my friend and I had a character in a single-player computer RPG (I think the original Might and Magic) named His Wang, solely for the messages that would be displayed during combat.

“Gnome hits His Wang. His Wang takes 6 damage. His Wang goes down.”
“Skeleton reaches for His Wang… but misses.”
That just never stops being funny

How about the cybertoothed tager since it is so dangerous on the internet!

In TOME I tend to name my characters after wrestling moves: The Raven Effect, GTS, Chemical Imbalance (for Corruptors).

So, would you say the next time you buy a CRPG and create a hero, he’ll be Bjorn again ?

(not in the face, not in the face !)
