I have seen Elenia28 many times before. Sadly, I can’t recall anything about her other than her propensity to run through threads naked. 
I am Torie. My full name is Victoria Zoe, and I am very proud of it. I was born in Oklahoma, when I was three months old we moved to North Carolina. Since then I have lived in Massachusettes, Las Vegas, Texas, Tennessee, Australia, New Jersey, back to Tennessee, then here. Here is Greenville, South Carolina. My father moved us here for work. We would probably be somewhere else by now if my father had not passed away from Bacterial Endocarditis when I was 16. We do the best we can without him, and despite myself, I am rather attatched to this mini-metropolis.
Now, I am 22 years old. I will be 23 on January 14th, which makes me a Capricorn. I love my cats, Kill Bill, swords, martial arts in general, cheesy action movies, Rasputina, Tori Amos, Type O Negative, Beer, My mom, and Duran Duran.
I currently work in the recieving department in Goody’s Family Clothing and love it.
My future plan is to be a teacher. My short term plan is to obtain an education in Medical Office Administration, but one of my favorite movie lines ever is “If you want to hear God laugh, make a plan.” So who knows what will happen.
I talk about myself entirely to much and am currently compliling a list of reasons I will be a Spinster with Twelve Cats.

I am another long time lurker and highly addicted to the SDMB. I am a 43 year old “girl”. (I don’t like to say ‘woman’ as it makes me feel old!) Anyhoo…
I am originally from Texas but have been living in Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland for the last 11 years. (the ball and chain is Irish). I am a nurse and work with the mentally handicapped. Like Torie, I love my job. Sounds corny but it is rewarding. I love to travel. Have been all over Europe, Mexico, Australia and spent three weeks in Vietnam last March. Vietnam is BRILLIANT! If you ever get the chance, go! I love to read and like a lot of other people, would like to publish my own novel. Some day. Got to write it first though! 
Genuine question. I’m actually still trying to figure out my beliefs, and sometimes talking about it helps me work things out. Plus I’m like you, I really enjoy learning about other belief systems (I’m taking three Comparative religion courses this year, and at least one next). E-mail is in my profile.

I know photopat is a 40 year old male living in Chicago. Briefly married and divorced who has been dating a painter for 6 years with whom he has traveled. He is a fan of, The Beatles, Monty Python, Terry Pratchett, DC Comics, Star Trek Aardman Animation, Eva Cassidy and the modernist photographers. He grew up in a small town in Iowa (Albia, current population approx. 3500), his father was county sheriff, his grandfather was mayor. He has lived nearly a quarter of his life in jail. 
I’m a forty something female, married since I was a teenager to a man and we are still madly in love. Our children are grown but no grandchildren yet. (maybe never) We have two dogs that we enjoy muchly.
I love swimming and snorkeling and would love to learn to SCUBA but I have moderately severe asthma. I’m an RN, Oncology certified currently working on a med-surg floor that specializes in alcohol and drug detox in addition to everything else. I’m a nonsmoker, occasional drinker and pretty much a homebody when I’m not working.
I love my computer and being online. I photography and playing around with Photoshop making icons and stuff like that. I like thrift shops, jewelry both fine and costume and repairing or redoing pieces. I have several body piercings.
I like decorating my house and have currently been on a reorganizing kick. Rubbermaid rocks my socks. I’m a good cook and like gardening and landscaping and travel and music and movies and history and antiques and old homes and people of all ages but especially old people. I’m one of those persons who talks to you at the airport asking how are you today and tell me about yourself (while the nurse part of me is looking at your ankles and your color and your breathing–it’s a sickness really)
Wow, is that enough? Probably more than you ever wanted to know.
You’ll regret that. She doesn’t write emails, she writes novellas.
Interesting novellas, mind you, but loooooong ones nonetheless.
