Well far be it from me to question the wisdom of the goddess. Let me get to casting.
Ok. Whose sword? (The only one you can get to easily is your own.)
Far be it from me to speak for NAF, but if the only sword he can easily get to is his own, I’m betting he’s going to attempt to bless his own sword.
That’s an astute observation. Another acceptable post would have been “LMAO.”
NAF, whose sword would you like t bless?
glee, you’ve got a a seriously ugly little nasty critter going through your food pack. It’s hissing at you, laughing at you, and taunting you (in a language you don’t understand). Are you doing anything about it?
The rest of you – In a way, you find this all completely hilarious, but in another way, you find it really distresssing and potentially dangerous. Attempt an action?
If I have gauntlets, I will try to remove the critter.
You do indeed have gauntlets. You try to remove it, but it hangs on to your arm pretty tenaciously. With enough shaking and banging it around, you manage to dislodge it. At that point, the laughing stops.
Who’s laughing stops? All of it? Cause I was just about to bless my sword, but will hold off if it seems to be unnecessary.
On the other hand, it can’t hurt to have a blessed sword. Bless my sword anyway.
Your three jocular companions stop laughing. But you now see that there are two critters.
You start your prayer, but immediately strange thoughts of death and dispair start to enter your head unbidden. It’s hard to concentrate.
The other critter leaps onto Koldanar’s head and attempts to stick its fingers in his ears, nostrils, and mouth, while giggling maniacally.
*attempts to pull critter off **Koldanar’*s head
It’s hanging on to his head pretty tightly, so you struggle for a bit. Just when you think you are about to succeed, it lets out a blood-curdling shriek, then just vanishes.
The other one just stands there and looks at NAF intently.
Would it be a better idea to attack the other one with my sword, or to try to grab it and make it vanish, too?
Where did my last post to this game go? Sonofa…
Anyway, can someone break that little guy’s gaze? I am trying to perform a ritual here and he is distracting me.
OK, I tell the critter staring at NAF to flee or die. If it doesn’t stop, I’ll attack it.
It ignores you.
attempts to attack critter
Your well-placed attack should have cut it in two. Instead, it steps out of the way almost effortlessly.
attempts again
You managed to get a piece of it (nice sword skills!). It shrieks really loudly, then vanishes. It then appears behind you.
NAF can now concentrate better.
Thanks Rugger!
