At her best, Lucinda Williams is awesome- her inconsistency is the only reason I consider her overrated. Neko Case, on the other hand, does nothing for me.

Alan Sherman, because he basically invented the genre.

OK, I know who this guy is…wasn’t expecting anything surprising other than some straightforward hard rock with an extended solo, and that is precisely what I got. Has a fair amount of power to it.
