So the board reads:
4c 5h 7s 10s
The River!!!
4c 5h 7s 10s 3c
Appearing mysteriously out of the shadows of lurkdom:
FTR, I would have held on to my 6-8 offsuit if I were playing. Its my lucky hand!
So we post our hand in the thread now?
Seems like a good way to tip someone off as to what they should or shouldn’t keep in their last two hands. In case they both are good hands, but one loses to a posted hand and one beats it.
Make sense?
Oh good point.
Um, once the river is posted, everyone knows which of their hands is better.
Yeah, I am going to wait to reval all the hands at once gang.
HEH.
HEH.
Once we get all the cards in, (Still waiting), if you all would be so kind as to PM me as to what hand you hold.
Does the phrase “Bad Beat” mean anything to anyone ?
HEH.
That is, are you playing Two Pair, or Three of a Kind?
Not on that board.
I do not believe that Mad The Swine has folded his last hand.
Let me do the math on his hand(s) and I will fold the losing hand.
I will be right back with who won what.
We’ve got a winner.
Coming in 4th place
Mad the swine with a J high. -Given this hand, I can understand why he dropped out.
Coming in 3rd place
Well, if we actually had a third place. :dubious:
Coming in 2nd place
And playing a LOT of cards on the board, CyberHwk AND Covered in Bees bothing coming out with a 7 high straight.
Which Leaves the Winner:
Juggler Who, pretty much had this thing locked up from the Flop. He predicted he had the nuts early on, and he indeed wins with his 8 High straight.
Did I get this right gang?
Next post will be the Hand Matrix, complete with ALL the cards.
Tied for a second with the second nuts?
Fix!

FLOP TURN RIVER
What did we all think gang ?
I have the matrix as an Excel compatible spreadsheet, complete with color coding relating to when hands were folded. Let me know if you want it
So both the nuts and the second nuts were well represented. I wonder what the odds of having a given two card hand is given 16 hands in play after the flop? Anyone better at math than I am? I’m just wondering how obvious it should have been that Juggler flopped the nuts.
He told me that he flopped the nut straight.
Again, I think you guys would beat me, in any form of poker, if I Were to actually play.
Speaking of that:
Does anyone else want to head up the next game ?
I would want in.
No, I meant that given a straight was possible, what were the odds someone flopped the nut straight given this many hands in play?
I’ll head up the next game if nobody else wants to.
Wow, I won! Here is my whine from the first pm I sent to Meeko
“Wow, three tens in different hands, no pocket pair, no suited, only one card over ten.”
But it worked out alright, easy decisions all the way. Thanks for doing this Meeko.
I think it would be more fun to have two threads the next time, one off limits for players. If mafia can do it so can we, right?
