Let's say you wanted to open up a bar

However, I don’t think a bar for gamers would make ANY money. Other than the fact that there wouldn’t be any women there (relatively speaking), you’re not going to sell any alcohol - they all drink Mountain Dew or energy drinks.

A bar in Indy called The Spot is geared towards games, but not gamers. Not only does it have the standard fare (pool, darts, bartop games), it has a skeeball machine, an old school NES, cornhole, basketball arcades, golden tee, and a few old school standup arcades. It makes an absolute fortune. They also let you set up beer pong on the pool tables (they put a slab of plywood on top).

Afterbattle.pub would get the blizzgeeks in line.
The Mana Bar would get your D&D crowd.
Seventh Heaven would pull the Final Fantasy fans.

And Jessica Biel fans.

Minus World.

If I was opening a club, I would name it “Up, Up, Down, Down.”

10% discount on the first drink if you immediately look the bartender in the eye and go “left-right-left-right-B-A.”

WOW Bars
Milleys (bonus points for anyone that can name the reference)

What kind of nerds?

Team Edward’s Hideout
Mos Eisley
Big Gay Al’s Big Straight Bar
All Your Booze Are Belong to Us
Lizard’s Lounge
The Handsome Grue

I love this one

Kill Screen for the gamers and either The Green Dragon or The Prancing Pony for the LOTR crowd.

Prancing Pony would make an excellent gay geek bar.

I don’t know about that. Dave & Busters does well, obviously offering way more than just a standard bar but any kind of bar appealing strictly to gamers would have to offer just that. I could see something where all the tables were connected to a network and you could game while you drink and chat up people while you played, that could make for a good icebreaker.

Thank you! I was waiting for my genius to be recognized.

Bottlezone? For an older crowd, obviously.

Nice one.

If it were a pub near the symphony you could call it Bar Oak.

Somebody Set Up Us The Bar

Pwned!

King Kuppa Klub?

Wait a minute. That might not be good.

Decorate it in a medieval theme and call it The Drunken Dragon.
