and you wanted to give it a nerdy name that would appeal mainly to video gamers, what name would you use? So far the best 2 I can come up with are “The Secret Level” and “The Warp Zone”. Thoughts?
How about “Your Mom’s Basement”?
Why would you want to appeal to Video Gamers? Wouldn’t you make more money appealling to people who like to go out all the time and hot chicks? And personally as someone who plays a lot of videogames, I would rather not go to bars populated by other videogamers.
Anyway, I think a good name would be ‘AFK’ (Away From Keyboard). Clever but subtle.
Moved Cafe Society → The Game Room.
Because video gamers don’t hang out in bars, they hang out in message board forums about video (and other) games.
I dunno. Gaming cafes are still pretty popular. You might be able to do it. AFK is great, but it needs to be lowercase.
Freeman’s Crow Bar
the cantina?
no! no! wait…Jabba’s palace with slave princess Leia’s waitresses in metal bikini’s…maybe chained to the bar

I’d go for the a wider geek demographic and call it “The Bar at the End of the Universe.”
What about hot chicks who like to go out all the time as well as play video games? It’s not like the two are mutually exclusive.
Yes, but she’s only one woman. She’s outnumbered.
A bar aimed at gamers should be called For Lease - Call 555-5555.

the cantina?
This isn’t the name you’re looking for.
Now if it were an S&M club it would of course be called The Choke Point.

Not really, no gamer has ever been known to have actually talked to a girl let alone ask one out.

I’d go after the Browncoat demographic and open The Signal.
