But it’s the mentally ill, or the middle aged, abusive, alcoholic white losers with multiple restraining orders against them who somehow procured a weapon that are the real danger.
The other real danger is that those who wouldn’t go on a rampage are indifferent to it. They’re indifferent to injustice. Nazism didn’t sprout from irrational hatred and intolerance alone; it was indifference of the majority that truly fertilized it. That’s what’s happening here, today.
Tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of morons toting guns descending on state capitols across the country, inevitably going to infect – and kill – other people.
No, I was right the first time: these “people” need to come down with the disease.
It’s not a nice thing to say, but the reality is, the world isn’t a nice place. People who behave recklessly should be the first ones to suffer the consequences of their irresponsible behavior.
Nah, the batshit insane ones are the ones protesting in state capitols with firearms, almost certainly spreading a fatal disease.
When I vote this November, I won’t be voting just against Trump and the Republican party; I’ll be voting against these “people.” I’ll be voting against bad citizens, against civic irresponsibility. I sincerely hope other people have the same thought when they’re considering their votes as well. This race isn’t just about candidate A versus candidate B; it’s good people versus shitty ones.
