Stalking is deliberately following someone around from thread to thread. What Guin, This Year’s Model, et al, engage in is mere opportunism.
Whatever you want to call it, isn’t it possible they simply disagree with your point of view and it’s not a personal thing?

I see Liberal attempting to brand most criticism of his aforementioned annoying habits as part of a conspiracy, thereby attempting to discredit their legitimacy. Most are as legitimate as B. Graham’s kids and, like others, it’s part of what’s caused me to quickly abandon any thread he’s entered that appears in danger of yet another hijacking. It just ain’t worth the frustration anymore.
Mega-dittos to that one. You see a topic, post your thoughts. If someone disagrees with you, why worry about it? All this fuss over one guy lends a false appearance of legitimacy to his odd philosophy.
Whatever I want to call it? I want to call it whatever it is. Don’t you? Anyway, anything is possible. I’m willing to hear a compelling argument that this OP, this thread in general, and the long string of potshots from those I mentioned, is not about me personally.

Overstated? Yes. Baseless? No. Thanks for the correction: since I don’t read threads about Survivor, Jeopardy, etc., I don’t encounter you in your benign form all that often, but on your pointing it out to me, I’m happy to concede it exists.
However, even if I stipulate your 4% figure, given the enormity of your posting, that’s a helluva lot of hijacks and nitpicks. Why not go through my posts for the last period and see how many are about the inability to prove that logic and reason are valid within our universe? Have you tried my thought experiment yet?

To be perfectly honest, what I think it is is a persecution complex, but I didn’t want to come out state it so bluntly. I’m not trying to be confrontational. I just think you should consider that maybe it’s like my example before, and some people simply are interested in the same topics as you but disagree with you.

newcrasher, you’re right, “libel” is too grand a word for it. I should have said “added me to your (paranoidly delusional) enemies list”. But then he’d whine about baseless accusations of mental illness.

The only regret I have about opening this thread is that it gives our resident drama queen yet another stage on which to chew the scenery.

but to now claim he “can’t” prove it is wrong. He has, to his satisfaction. Obviously not to yours.
this is a written medium. inflections, tone, and all those gentle nuances we are accustomed to IRL to help us discern the intent behind the words are not able to be seen. Rather than simply dismiss his examples, perhaps you could look at them and re-interpret them for him, so that he would (hopefully) be able to discern your intent in the future.
I know Lib gets on folks’ nerves. We don’t communicate w/each other outside of these open forums, so I hope I won’t be written off as an apologist. Especially since I’ve (on more than one occasion) requested that he and various other folks stop their sniping at each other in some thread or another.
But you asked (essentially) where he got the idea that you dogpiled on him, he answered it. You disagree that his perceptions of your posts were correct. That’s not lible. that’s a misunderstanding.
