Are you not aware that I’m not even trying to answer your question? Why? Because I answered it several posts ago. Given that you seem retentionally challenged, let me refresh your memory, to wit:

Oh, we’re talking about my character now? Funny, as far as I can recall, the only mention of character that has been made in this thread has been in regard to your lack of it.
You flatter yourself rather badly, I’m afraid. Admitting clumsy wording is not the same as retracting a false statement. You allude to a poor choice of words by saying “liked and supported”, but you make no mention of the fact that the point you were making with that “clumsy” choice of words was that I only offer praise to those who are already on my side and who say nice things about me. Given that I had just spoken highly of you despite the fact that for your entire posting history you have been quite hostile to me, your statement and the point you were trying to make with it are clearly false. And now you try to worm out of it by claiming a “clumsy” choice of words. Well, it ain’t gonna work pal. Two times now rjung has made false claims about something I’ve said, and both times he has refused to retract them, apparently either out of childish pride or an unwillingness to admit he was wrong. I’m sorry to say you seem to be little different from rjung, just more verbose.

It’s beginning to appear that you have some sort of problem with people you percieve as being “popular.” As for myself, I don’t even think in such terms. If I think someone’s a dick, I say so; if I think they deserve praise, I praise 'em. Simple as that. Frankly, you seem to have some sort of odd problem with both compliments (whether giving or receiving them) and popularity. Why this is so is anybody’s guess, but as for me I don’t care. The more you say the less I care about anything you might think.
Boy, there’s a zinger from which I’m not likely to recover anytime soon. Did you think that up all by yourself or did you have to reach all the way back to junior high school to find it?
Oh, well, like I said…the more you say, the less interesting and less worthwhile as an adversary I find you. I think I’ll run along now and not waste anymore time on you…for now, at any rate.
Your tiresome length, Starving Artist - all to disguise the fact that you can’t answer my question. I saw that paragraph, of course - but it’s not a response to the question, is it? Let me refresh you.
Obviously I was offering a chance for him to explain it - because, while it sure appeared like a naked attempt to hijack and get attention, it’s possible there was some other goal in posting it. I didn’t want to assume the worst without giving him a chance to defend himself.
You responded with nothing better than an insult - which, had I thought about your past behavior instead of giving you the benefit of the doubt, I would have taken to mean you couldn’t come up with another possible motive for his post. You posted this:

All this time, though, you can’t explain what Liberal did mean. You tried to defend the indefensible, in other words. And now you’re trying to weasel out of it with more insults.
Starving Artist, you don’t even try to defend the points you make. Which I guess is proof positive that there’s nothing to them except your continued attempts to earn a pat on the head from Liberal.
Should I point out yet again that you don’t even attempt to retract – much less apologize for – the erroneous assertion you made regarding me?
Ahhh…so that’s what this is all about! You remember the thread where I was battling mightily on Liberal’s behalf and you bear resentment from it! What’s the matter? Are you resentful that no one has ever taken up for you like that? If so, I would suggest a little of the nobility of spirit that characterizes Liberal, and then perhaps people would be inclined to come to your defense were you to find yourself the subject of a pile-on.
I know I said I was bowing out, and now I shall…but I couldn’t let this startling new insight go by without comment.
