This is a good place to start. There is also a nationally syndicated radio libertarian talk show host, Neal Boortz and you may enjoy reading his program notes.
I’m not nearly as well-versed as Lib, but you should educate yourself before you demean something. That way, you can at least demean it intelligently.

Never Have I Because I, I said essentially the same thing about Lib myself in the earlier thread, but even I don’t think you’re coming across too well here. I think maybe some things you didn’t mean seriously were taken as such, and I’m pretty sure you’ve misinterpreted the jokes of some other posters.
This isn’t unusual for new SDMB members; this is a unique board, and the atmostphere isn’t the same as many other online forums. It takes some getting used to. The Pit, particularly, is a tricky place. It would probably be best to just back off for a bit, cool down, and move on to other things.
