I have been getting a lot of these little bumps on my tongue (lie bumps mum would say)
What causes them. They are just little bumps that last a day or so then go away. It seems they always come back in the same place.
They don’t hurt but are annoying and now that I think of it my whole front of my tongue seems more sensitive to things like mustard.
Is this like herpes simplex. Or just the sign of a weak immune system.
They mean you’re going to die a horrible, horrible death. You’re tongue will swell up in your mouth until you can no longer eat. Even if you get an IV drip, it will swell into the back of your throat and choke you. Even amputating the tongue won’t help, because after that, your throat will swell. If they cut out your throat, then your genitals will fall off.

Actually it is irritated taste buds. Depending where on your tongue (different areas of your tongue are sensitive to different tastes) will determine what irritates them more. It won’t kill you…unless you cut off your tongue. Then you know what happens.

I don’t have any info for you but I just wanted to thank you for reassuring me that I am not the world’s most unethical person! My mother has always called those things “lie bumps” and I spent many, many guilty hours as a child trying to remember what lie I had told to get a bump on my tongue! No wonder I am such an anxious adult…
The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they’re going to be when you kill them.
Sometimes bumps on the tongue, along with a whitish coat (not always present) can be caused by the person being under stress. The body reacts oddly to stress which is long lasting or unresolved.
