Well, I have a couple interview in NY in 2-3 weeks. I’ve got my plane tickets for the trip and I’m hoping that the only reason I’ll be using the return trip ticket is to come back and get the U-haul. I’m still open to any ideas for jobs up that way, if anyone has any ideas. And, I don’t know completely what my schedule will be while I’m up there, but I do know I have Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th free (anyone wanna get together? Poor lurker has to work, so I’m kinda left to my own devices!)
Please, wish me good luck on these interviews. I really want to find a job and get out of Florida soon. I just don’t know what more to do other than what I’m already doing!

I know that several NYC dopers have been in the apartment hunt recenty (and the job hunt for that matter). I’ll see if I can get them to jump in and give you any hints they may have.

I think lurker and I were planning on that one of the two Thursdays I’m in town, but thanks for the invite! I can defintely use any suggestions/help/whatever that anyone has to give me. (Can you tell I’m desperate to move??!!) lurker’s my tour guide/planner but I think if my plane gets in on time, we’ll probably see you the night of the 26th then. (And if not, then May 3 )
Verrain, I think when the move time comes we’re planning a leisurely drive up (or I am if I have to go it alone… we won’t know until the time comes) Either way, we’ll have to see if that can be arranged. And if not the drive up, then definitely some time after I’ve moved. Thanks for the well wishes! I have a feeling I just might need them!
Thought on getting together…I’ve been meaning to head back up to NYC for a while now. Last weekend in April is as good as any. (Although I was thinking more mid-May, but oh well.)
