I must have sucker written all over my face. The Fella sent me a pic of three little kittens that were abandoned at his house. He doesn’t have a good animal shelter nearby so I offered to take them to the one near me, since they have a good placement rate.
So he brought over two orange and one gray little teeny bundles of squeakiness. My friend (also a crazy cat lady) popped in and immediately claimed two. Well, hell. I cannot be the person to take the ONE leftover little one in and hand it over and say, well, here’s the One that No One Wanted.
In other words…new kitty at my house!!! She is a tiny little orange striped baby, friendly and fierce by turns, not at all intimidated by the dogs and other cats. Cute as a button.
Her name is Betsy.
And it should be noted that my friend is also planning to move in with me in a few weeks, so we will have…well, several cats between us. We are planning to build a cat kennel add-on with a cat door so they can go outside safely and without freaking out the neighbors too much.

My IT guy is on vacation with his dad, but I’ll see what I can do. So far most of her pics are of an orange blur, with the exception of one I plan to use if I ever demand a ransom for her.

Yep. Just make sure the pictures are enabled for public viewing (or whatever the settings call it) or you’re in for more grief.

Her eyes remind me of a cartoon kitten. And she seems very healthy…her nose looks dirty because she sticks her whole face in the wet food.
