In my eternal quest for Eagles tickets (well okay, maybe not eternal just for the last 5 years ever since I could possibly afford to go to Philly for a weekend) I am determined, very determined to succeed this year. Yes this means I will go to eBay, StubHub, or RazorGator to get tickets. Its basically a damn all the costs sort of thing this year. Every year my parents, any friends who I can convince and I all call the Eagles tickets hotline, and try online to no avail. I doubt that will change this year ( I know the single game tickets have not gone on sale yet, any philly locals who know when this happens?) so I will be forced to go to one of the above options. Which brings me to my questions:
In general what seats are better to view an NFL game? I have never been to one before (I hate the bills) and its quite possible that this will be the only one I ever go to therefore I want to actually see the game, or at least a good portion of it. A great experience to remember, you know? So sideline/corner/endzone? Upper/lower level?
Is there anything I should know about Lincoln Financial Field? Bad sight lines? What is this “pepsi zone” I see as a seating zone on some of the sites?
How reliable are the above mentioned sites? Any experience? Anecdotes are more then welcome.
Is it better, price wise, to bite the bullet now realizing the chances of actually getting a ticket let alone 2 together directly from the Eagles are slim to none and go ahead and purchase a pair of tickets now?
Thats about all I can think of, unless one of you actually have season tickets, and don’t want to go see the Lions (sept 23, 3 days after my birthday) as they suck, and you know want to get rid of a pair? (I hope that doesn’t get this thread closed, I don’t know the policy in regards to begging for goods) :).
